Andy is a seasoned communications and athletics administration professional with nearly three decades of experience shaping high-profile storytelling, brand strategy, and media relations. His career has taken him across amateur, collegiate, and professional sports, giving him a unique ability to connect with different audiences and craft narratives that resonate.
He’s led external affairs and communications at places like Florida Atlantic University and the University of Central Florida, where he steered the Knights’ national profile during the football program’s undefeated 2017 season. That year, his creative campaigns fueled the school’s “National Champions” claim, generating hundreds of millions in recognition value. A year later, he played a key role in bringing ESPN’s College GameDay to UCF for the first time in school history.
Andy has also driven three successful Heisman Trophy campaigns—including those for Alex Smith at Utah and McKenzie Milton at UCF—using innovative, data-driven PR strategies that elevated each candidate to finalist status. At FAU, he built a Creative Content team from the ground up, helped secure a groundbreaking multimedia rights deal, and oversaw marketing and outreach for 19 varsity sports.
His professional football experience includes leadership roles in the United Football League, most recently with the Memphis Showboats. There, he created fan engagement initiatives, produced compelling feature stories, and built meaningful community connections that strengthened the team’s brand and presence.
Andy also gives back to the industry, serving as an officer with College Sports Communicators, where he helped launch a national mentorship program for young professionals. At the core of his work is a commitment to authentic storytelling, collaborative leadership, and measurable impact.
