Mark Fischel

Mark Fischel has built his career at the intersection of accreditation, event operations and media relations, helping some of the world’s largest sports organizations deliver seamless, secure and world-class experiences.

He last served as the Head of Accreditation for the FIFA World Cup 2026 and Club World Cup 2025, overseeing a global team of 50+ professionals and managing accreditation strategy, operations, and security for more than 100,000 anticipated participants across 11 host cities in the United States. Additional leadership experience also includes serving as Head of Accreditation for the 2023 FISU World University Games in Lake Placid, directing credentialing and access control for over 15,000 attendees across 12 competition venues and eight athlete villages.

During Covid, Mark launched Fischel Consulting (FischCo.), a consulting firm that provided accreditation, operations, and media services for major sports and entertainment events including the New York City Marathon, Preakness Stakes and the Mubadala Citi Open, allowing him to expand his strength and knowledge in tennis, horse racing and marathons. 

Earlier in his career, Mark spent more than a decade with the NBA and NHL, managing accreditation, event operations and communications for premier league events, including over 20 iterations of NBA and NHL All-Star Games, Finals, Entry Drafts, NHL Winter Classics and NBA Global Games.

A proud graduate of the University of Central Florida, Mark currently lives in Bushwick, Brooklyn with his wife Vanessa and two cats, Ziggy and Bowie. He enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, an avid cinema goer and follower of historical and current events.
